• Just hop on board and explore South Tyrol with ease:  our guest, you can use the Südtirol Guest Pass to travel free of charge on regional trains, city and regional buses, ski and hiking buses, as well as selected cable cars. The bus stop is right outside the Gasthof zur Sonne – ideal for relaxed excursions to Bolzano, into Val d’Ega or towards the Dolomites.

Breakfast, lunch & dinner

Depending on the board option you book, you can enjoy breakfast, half board or full board in a cosy atmosphere. The day starts with a varied breakfast buffet featuring regional produce, freshly sliced cold meats and cheeses, homemade cakes and a selection of egg dishes. Breakfast is served in the bright dining room or outside on the terrace.

For lunch and dinner, we serve South Tyrolean classics, Italian favourites and seasonal dishes. There are also fresh salads, delicious vegetarian options and gluten-free or lactose-free alternatives on request.

Pets

Your four-legged friends are welcome here. Dogs are welcome in the dining room, bar and on the terrace.
Pets are not permitted in the garden or wellness area.

Please let us know before your arrival and bring a dog blanket or basket with you.
Additional charge: €5.00 per day, excluding meals.

Smoking

The hotel has a dedicated smoking room. Smoking is not permitted in any other areas of the hotel.

Reservation & Deposit
Your reservation becomes binding once we have received a deposit of 30 % of the total amount.

Please transfer the deposit within one week of receiving your booking confirmation.

Important: Please include the name of the person making the booking and the dates of your stay with your bank transfer.

• Payment options
  You can pay conveniently by cash, debit card, VISA, Mastercard or American Express.

• Cancellation policy
  Free cancellation is possible up to 14 days before arrival. Any deposit already paid will be refunded.
  From 13 days before arrival, the deposit already paid will be retained.
  In the event of late arrival or early departure, we charge 90 % of the price of services not used.
  Separate cancellation conditions apply to group bookings and are available on request.

• Travel insurance
  To avoid unnecessary costs in the event of cancellation, we recommend the „Hotelstorno Plus” cancellation cover from Europäische Reiseversicherung.

Child discounts
For two full-paying guests sharing a room, the following discounts apply:

• Children up to 1.99 years: free of charge in a cot
• Children aged 2–6: 50% discount
• Children aged 7–14: 30% discount

Extra bed
Adults staying in an extra bed receive a 15% discount when sharing a room with two full-paying guests.
Tourist tax
A tourist tax is charged per person per night for guests aged 14 and over. The tourist tax is payable locally.
